Scouting the Coyotes

Tonight is the first of six meetings this season between the Kings and Phoenix Coyotes. Shane Doan is sitting on 299 career NHL goals. Of those, 28 have come against the Kings. What are the chances that he nets No. 300 tonight? The Coyotes are expected to go with goalie Mike Smith, who allowed six goals in a season-opening loss to San Jose but since has stopped 43 of 45 shots in his last two starts.
