QUICK: “We’ve definitely done better, I know that for sure. At moments, we were playing our game and playing really well. At times, though, we got away from it a little bit. We’ve just got to refocus here. We’ve got a big game against Philly in a couple days, so we’ll get ready for that.’’

(on getting one point in the first game back from Europe…)
QUICK: “Obviously it’s good to get a point, but at the end of the day we want two, so we came up a little short. We have to figure out what we did wrong and what we have to do better, and we’ll be better.’’

(on facing Kovalchuk and Parise in the shootout…)
QUICK: “They’re two highly skilled players. They made a couple good moves and they deked me.’’
