    @Kings win, Ducks lose,

    I assume he will since the Kings are allowed to have 3 goalies on the roster since they are starting the season in Europe.

    Why is Andreoff eligible for Manch? He’s what, 19? He had an amazing camp by the way, reminded me a lot of Keith Primeau.

    @Nyck,

    He is 20 years old. Kings drafted him as overager out of Juniors.

    @Nyck, I agree with you 100% Andreoff was an overager playing his 4th year with the Generals. He can’t go back to jr’s so he is with Manchester were he will have a great season or , mark my words, he will get called up. I would love to have 10 of him on my team any day, Kings got a great 3rd rounder in Andreoff.

    @mcdangles, Andy is eligable to return to Oshawa this season to play as an overage. The age limit for the OHL is 21, and Andy will not turn 21 until May 2012. There are lot of fans hoping for his return as he was a huge part of the team both offensively and physically.

    @Andreofffan15, I stand corrected. I had a good conversation with Andy after one of the Kings training camp skates and said word is that he will be down on the farm team this year. He stood out in a very impressive way to alot of people here in L.A. and those being Kings brass. Like I said, he will get the call up to the SHOW here and he will stir the pot if ya know what I mean.

    I was at the kings and yotes game last wed. Was a great game. We even had a 5 on3 and we couldn’t score. First line looked good. Lot of good chances. Also Toffoli had a good game. Wouldn’t doubt seeing him on the team next year. Can’t wait for the season to start. We going to have a great year. GO KINGS GO!!!!!!!

    This is the first game that the Kings have had their starting type guys playing. Remember, the first 2 games were split squad.

    What I saw was a lot of good chances as guys drove to the net. Driving to the net. Saw it all night and like it. Their timing will come, but the moves seem to indicate there’l be more “net presence, or whatever Murray calls it.

    Voynov looked good – again. I’m not sure about Hickey. Is he quietly good (stay at home?) or just not engaged in offense as much as we think he should be?

    Lotki looked good, and I’m picking Richardson over Parse. Don’t know what to do about Parse. Poor guy, really. Fates have not been kind to him here in LA on many fronts.

    This was the first al squad game, and I saw good things, yeah some bad, but overall positive.

    Did anyone but me see the Ducks player standing deep in the crease blue paint just before the 2nd goal? He was STANDING on Quick’s stick. The scoring shot went 5 hole because Quick had no stick to close the door. Hmmmm

    JMFJ#3 Reply:

    @IceGuy, yeah i totally saw that! he bumped quick and kicked his stick out from quick and then quick couldn’t keep the paddle part of the stick flat on the ice to block the second goal

    Can cut Drewiskie, Parse and Kompon next?

  18. xcution92 says:

    Slava Voynov looked pretty darn good out there. Looks poised to make the team and have a strong rookie season. If i’m Drewiske or Martinez, I’d be kinda nervous. Doughty (when he signs), JMFJ, Voynov the puck movers. Willie, Scuds, and Greene the stay at home defenders. Huge mistake if they send this kid down to Manchester. Loktionov settling in nicely. team needs high end skill to bolster the offense. We need GOALS!!! Send Parse to Manchester, He looks lost out there!! LIABILITY! What the hell did we sign Westgarth for??? Team doesnt need a punching bag. Jordan Nolan can replace him. He’s the kings next Simmonds. good skill and can stir up choas, and he likes to fight. The next couple days should be interesting in terms of who gets cut and who stays. Thank god its hockey season!! Go Kings!
