Gagne ill; game prep begins

Simon Gagne did not practice today because of flu symptoms, but everyone else is expected to participate.

The Kings shook up the practice groups a bit, with the group that is traveling to Phoenix for tomorrow’s game getting the first ice time. The group scheduled to play at Staples Center tomorrow is on the ice now. With Gagne out, Scott Parse moved up to play left wing alongside Mike Richards and Dustin Brown.

Colin Fraser (foot) and J.F. Berube (hip) continue to do conditioning skating but are not participating in any drills.
