Miller to return (and stay busy)

As many of you probably read today, Bob Miller confirmed to the L.A. Times that he will be staying with the Kings for at least two more seasons (along with Jim Fox, who had previously signed a multi-year contract). That’s great news for everyone, including myself, since spending time with them on the road is one of the great joys of my job.

They’ll be busy this year. The Kings/FSN have yet to announce their TV schedule for 2011-12, but sources confirmed that at least 81 of the 82 regular-season games will be televised, with 75 schedule for FS West or Prime Ticket (all available in high definition), five slated for the soon-to-be-renamed Versus network and one (March 11 at Chicago) to be shown on NBC. As of now, the only game not scheduled to be shown is the March 9 game at Detroit, although the possibility remains that the game could be added. No games are scheduled to be shown on KCOP Ch. 13 this season.
