Depending on your location this weekend, I hope you’re all staying cool (West Coast) or dry (East Coast). Based on the great feedback we received, Frank Robledo has set the dates for the two LAKingsInsider.com suite nights, to be held Sat., Nov. 19 (against Detroit) and Sat., Jan. 21 (against Colorado). A reminder that tickets for the Detroit game will be $100 and tickets for the Colorado game will be $75. Because it’s a weekend in the middle of summer, and obviously not everyone is checking the blog as regularly as usual, I’m just going to make the announcement now and post a link tomorrow at 10 a.m. Pacific time, at which point tickets will be available. Per usual, suites will continue to be opened until no more are available. Both of last year’s games sold out quickly. We’re still in the process of figuring out what type of special events will go along with the night, but I’m confident that those who have attended in the past will tell you it’s a fun night. Very much looking forward to seeing everyone soon!

Will there be more tickets released closer to the actual date of the game? This really sucks kinda for myself. I thought they would be released closer to the game so I could actually have time to save up to go. If they sell out quick now I wont be able to go. I feel like I am not going to be alone on this.

Yes you can put them on the Ticket Exchange, but if they don’t sell, you have to still pay for them.

If you already know it’s a lame rumor, why bother? By mentioning it at all, you just give it credence it probably doesn’t deserve. That’s why a certain rumor site is verboten around here, because the legitimizing effect of talking about it annoys Rich.

@DougS, if I knew for sure it was just a rumor, I wouldn’t have asked. Last I checked, it wasn’t a crime to ask a question. I don’t get all condescending when people ask questions that are clear to me. And it sounds like he is renting, and the house he’s renting could be up for sale. (Doesn’t mean it’s any reflection of what he wants to do, could be the owner just wants to sell). It’s not a waste of anyone’s time. Not only did I hear about it, but I bought it!! Interesting floor coverings. All of the floors are multi-colored in bright pastels and deep earthtones. They even feel funny to walk on, kinda like small pebble texture. They reminded me of …. wait for it…. doughnut sprinkles!!! Actually haven’t heard anything about it but it would be interesting if true, especially if the rumor said he was looking to buy, which would make us all happy.

Nothing wrong with asking. If you want to find out if rumors are true, this should be the first place to check. Often if Rich hasn’t reported on it, it hasn’t happened, but he doesn’t address all rumors. Remember though, that some rumors are so bogus or ridiculas that they actually seem offensive because their there to spread negative missinformation to create mistrust in fans.
It’s kind of like a popular highschool girl spreading rumors about another girl sleeping around simply to get the other girls to hate her. The information might seem harmless, but to others it’s garbage, so just be patient when checking.
