Development camp action today

A reminder for those who might have the morning free, or who might have come down with a mysterious case of the sniffles. The Kings’ development-camp prospects will be on the ice shortly at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo, most notably for a scrimmage from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Also, one “team” of prospects will practice from 8-9:15 a.m. while the other “team” will practice from 10:45 a.m.-noon. Derek Forbort, whose back issues had made him questionable to be on the ice, is expected to participate.

I’ll be there with updates, interviews, etc. For now, there’s this… Loyal reader (and outstanding photographer) Chasen was in El Segundo this weekend and caught some of the drill sessions that players were going through. You can check out the pictures by clicking here.
