Handzus to San Jose (this time, really)

Contrary to previously published reports, Michal Handzus will not be going to Philadelphia. In fact, he will be staying in the Pacific Division, as the San Jose Sharks signed him to a two-year contract worth $2.5 million per season, according to TSN’s Gord Miller. The Kings’ other significant unrestricted free agent, Alexei Ponikarovsky, signed a one-year, $1.5-million deal with Carolina today.
