TSN’s Gord Miller is reporting, as a “done deal,” that the Kings have acquired center Mike Richards from Philadelphia in exchange for Brayden Schenn and Wayne Simmonds. I’ve been able to confirm that those talks between the teams were in serious stages, but still waiting for confirmation on completion of a deal. Stay tuned.
[UPDATE: It’s a done deal, and there’s also a draft pick going as part of the trade, likely a second-round pick.]
[UPDATE 2: The second-round pick going to Philadelphia will be a 2012 pick.]
