   I’m bummed that we actually lose two home games at Staples Center because of the Europe games. I thought it would be split.

   @jayhay, I think I remember hearing that AEG owns (same group that owns the Kings)the European statiums that are being used. Perhaps that has something to do with it?

   This is extremely odd scheduling -

   The Kings play Ottawa at home on January 23rd. They do not play another game at home or away until Columbus visits on February 2nd – TEN DAYS later. Then, on February 3rd, the Kings begin a 5 game 15 DAY roadtrip, returning to Staples on February 16th.

   I know this accounts for the “Grammy Awards Break”, but it still means that between JANUARY 23rd and FEBRUARY 16th the Kings will play 1 home game at Staples Center.

   The Los Angeles Kings will be playing back-to-back games 12 times this season. Jonathan Bernier better be ready.

    If there is a readily apparent positive from the Europe trip, it’s that the Kings’s longest road trip will be 5 games. However, the home and home vs SJ to close out the season will be brutal.
