@tornado12, Tornado!!
I have just been mad crazy busy at work these days, and I spend most of my time on this blog when I am bored during slow times at work.
I doubt that he will start, I think they will try out Reimer first since he was hot to end the year. I think Bernier is the best option though, obviously slightly biased due to me being such a fan.
Canada has SUCH a young team this year it is insane. Its pretty cool though to see a variety of different and talented young guys make the team, should be interesting to see how well they do. Check out the roster:

@VanKingsFan, thats a pretty strong roster. lots of talent up front, dont know about the D though. Bernier is the best goalie on that list IMHO, but as mentioned below, because Reimer plays for the all sacred Maple Leafs, he probably gets the nod. Where is giordano? He should be playing for you guys. bowmeester?

@tornado12,
I don’t know… they might have been asked and declined. Canada has such a giant pool of guys to pick from, it must be hard decisions on who to invite.
over on the Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach, Ca A young man named Jimmy (Poorman) Trenton is popping open an expensive bottle of bubbly with that announcement on Jon Bernier !

Congrats Bernier!

Props to Bernier. How about letting Jonathan Quick backstop the US? Then they can face each other and we can have 600 reply threads about why the Kings should go with one goalie over another!

@Icecrown, +1
I think Reimer is the de facto #1 only cuz he plays in Toronto and the whole world knows who he is cuz the media makes sure everyone in the world knows every player on the leafs.
Rich, I suggest you promote Bernier as much toronto has promoted Reimer so that he can get a start. Thanks.

On another note..Man, the Preds were getting worked last night. I think the Ducks would’ve matched up much better against them! Looking forward to the Wings and SJ! Don’t know who I’m rooting for there..I guess it is what it is..but I guess it would be great to see SJ win, and then go to the finals and Vancouver beat them! HA HA! (feel good moment!)

@KH, Looks like a mix of college, AHL and some NHL players so the GM’s can rag on them about how poorly they performed in the World”s. Who in the heck selected that team, only about 5 decent players.

Yeah, sorry US fans that you seem to be a little down on the American roster. Here is ours:
http://www.tsn.ca/canadian_hockey/feature/?id=21234
Highlights include: Duchene, Eberle, Nash, Skinner, Spezza, Chris Stewart, and Tavares. And we will likely lose to the Slovaks or Russians or something. We never win this tournament.

You know I was wondering if Team Canada would select DD after the Kimgs were eliminated. I am so glad we didn’t. DD needs to re evaluate his year and choose if he wants to be a superstar in this league. I love DD but he actually regressed this year because of all the great things that happened to him last year. I hope he gets a wake up call and comes to camp in shape and ready to lead
