I noticed that he is usually out there only 20-30 seconds, just enough for one trip down to the offensive end and then gets off the ice when it transitions back to the defensive end.

For a defensive-minded system, we are having ridiculously bad breakdowns on nothing plays. Just leaving people wide open. Bad play by Richie on Thornton. Bad play all around on the 5th goal. Just leaving Quicker hanging out to dry. Is pathetic.

@ziggy, It’s not a defensive “minded” system, it’s a very simple system that relies on discipline and perfect execution every time. In a series, exploiting tendencies and adjustments are critical. Our adjustments are basically to reset and get back to the system. Variety on attack and flexibility on defense are the keys to winning playoff series
