Kings hosting bone-marrow drive

For all the excitement and intrigue surrounding tonight’s regular-season finale, there’s also a serious matter. During tonight’s game at Staples Center, the Kings will be partnering with the “Be the Match” organization to host a bone-marrow registry drive. The team and the group are hoping to find a match for 19-year-old Kings fan Tanner Raboin, who is battling a life-threatening genetic disorder. The drive will take place inside the arena, near section 115. There’s no cost involved and volunteers will undergo only a self-administered cheek swab and a simple questionnaire and consent form. For more information on Tanner and the drive, visit the “Be the Match” foundation’s site by clicking here.
