Stoll postgame quotes

Jarret Stoll’s postgame thoughts…

(on the game…)

STOLL: “Both goalies made the saves when they had to. It was a tight-checking game. It was a hard game to play. We just found a way to do it again, we just found a way to get the points, and that’s all that matters.”

(on keeping the game simple…)
STOLL: “(We’re doing) nothing fancy, just get the puck moving north, get in, get on the cycle, get on the forecheck, create some shots and second-chance opportunities. … Our defensive game, our checking game is really good, really tight right now, and our goaltenders are making key saves when they have to. We just have to keep going like that. It’s going to be a battle every game like this. We just have to be prepared for it and focused for it.”

(on the tight standings…)
STOLL: “It doesn’t really matter who you’re playing. It seems like the games mean the same. … The focus is there for us, that hasn’t wavered at all. We’ve been battling. You look at our record for the past 25 games or so and it’s pretty good. We just have to keep going and keep pushing.”
