The Canucks tied the game with 4:44 remaining in the second period. Drew Doughty, who had consistently been jumping into plays deep in the offensive zone, got caught deep, and the Canucks worked the puck behind Trevor Lewis and started a 2-on-1. Daniel Sedin kept the puck and beat Quick with a sharp wrist shot to tie the game 1-1.

@BakoCAkingsCondorsGuy,
What did I just say, we need to figure this out quick, real quick. Drew watch the Vancouver D guys they take no chances and play smart every time. They get pucks deep and play D.
TM do something about this problem. Sit him, sit him, sit him.

Loose concentration and you get one in the face.

Dewey’s talking smack.

Brownie looks very baby-faced tonight..

@Capt Jam, Yea but that was as wide open in the slot as you can get.
So they think getting knocked down with the puck is a penalty but being knocked down w/o it isn’t?
[Reply]
Well that was the stupid cutesy playthat DD always does that leads to a goal or a scoring chance,DUMB,oh sorry two stupid dumbass plays, thank,s DD.

@BakoCAkingsCondorsGuy, What sucks is the timing…that they couldn’t make it out of the period…but it’s better than the top of the 3rd.

This is POORMAN and I say Bernier would of had that…

That’s two for Doughty! For hating Vancouver so much, he sure does like to help them score!
[Reply]
Doughty needs to pull his head out. What are you doing?! You’ve cost us two goals with your idiotic passing while being out of position.
Figure it out Drew. You are letting your teammates down.

@Brent, balance on the ice. If DD is taking it deep a forward needs to back off. It looked like Zues got too deep in trailing the play. No worry, they will have to take some chances now that their top two creative guys are down.
[Reply]
Quick is rattled. Time to pull him. Sorry, those two late period chances, you need to come up with the save.
