The Kings need to play tight, thats there only chance.. Doughty just cant play so recklessly! It’s fine to come down and try to score, but there’s no one behind you, so if youre going to throw it in front and hope for a tip, do it from the top of the circle, dont go all the way down low and THEN throw it in front. Yes, its a bad break Vanc came right down and had just enough time to score, but you need to play to your team strength and use your smarts.

@jason, True, but on the Kings goal we had Richardson and Clifford in the middle above the circles, on Van’s last goal all 3 Kings forwards were below the faceoff dot. that’s the difference, and Drew needs to notice those types of things, he is after all a Defenseman.

4th line: solid shifts from richie, clifford and westy. took.the body all night and forced pressure in the nucks zone.
after that, not do much. I’m still waiting for Penner to show up. Moller needs to step up his play now. Even if the kings had Kopi and willy they wouldn’t have won the game. Very sloppy in their own zone, too many turnovers.

Not one single shot on goal in the third period. Canucks played good disciplined hockey taking no penalties in the 3rd period where the Kings took 5 penalties. It is hard to comeback from a one-goal deficit when you are constantly in the penalty box.
