@jason, I don’t know what it is you’re seeing in Scuderi’s game. He’s just consistently solid. If it’s being in the crease, take a look at the final 30 seconds of game 7 Pittsburgh/ Detroit and tell me who saved the game and series.

@xeropoint, yea true but hes screwed quick a few times this season.. he backs off the blueline too much and lets people get in too close to take shots.. him and johnson have been the worse defensive airing since they got together

@xeropoint, Exactly!!!
jason Reply:

@xeropoint, hes got a -8 plus/minus in the last 20 games… although i blame johnson for a lot of that
Bad penalty by Moller. You can’t give Vancouver free PP chances. By free I mean unnecessary penalties.
[Reply]
Penner so needs to step up, I’ve barely heard is name mentioned in two-three games…..
[Reply]
klepto Reply:

@Louis Zypher, Penner just never seems to play with much energy. A guy his size should be able to lay some serious crushing checks, but rarely seems to hit anyone.

@Louis Zypher, I have said from the begining, Penner is a waste of a jersey and even bigger waste playing. How he can make over $4,000,000 is beyond me.
[Reply]
Canuck fans are beside themselves. Couldn’t happen to better bunch.
[Reply]
Wouldn’t have been surprised if they called that a goal Haha.
[Reply]
It’s good they didn’t adjust the clock at the previous face-off: those few tenths of a second would’ve made a difference and it would’ve been a goal….
[Reply]
Whoa! Those are the kind of things that have been going *against* us. Is it an omen? I hope so.
[Reply]
Ahhhhhh hhhaaaaa haaaa…..looooooserango
Hey how come the crybaby nucks didn’t start
To cry and whine about that after the buzzer
Goal? Lol.
So far I’m lovin it just like mcdonalds baby!!
[Reply]
Nicely done! Two more periods like that please! (One seriously scary moment there at the end, though – whew!)
[Reply]
Lewis is amazing AWAY from the puck….
Only in hockey…What a sport..
Kings need to muddle up their game..
They get confused by this..

No one said it was going to be pretty. I like ugly wins just as much and even moreso, against the Canucks.

@xeropoint, Talking about ugly, how bout Poni’s face…
He looks like a typical Russian thug type in the movies..
Just an observation, still love him cause he’s a King…
Teams must get afraid when he comes at them..

@xeropoint,
j/k
I know I will hear from many and I’m not wanting to complain, heck we are up by a goal with the best team in the NHL and we are without our two best forwards. But, I continue to say our PP issues start with this…..
-Smyth too slow
-Zues too slow
-Penner too slow
-now Moller too small
…..we need quickness and drive the net, not three guys behind the icing line looking for the puck and no one comes up with it. Get a big guy to the front of the net period and stay there, Poni, Clifford, heck even Greene in front of Opposition net. And then get pucks to the net, period.
Finally our D have to stop turning the puck over, “WHEN IN DOUBT, GET IT OUT” that simple.
[Reply]
xeropoint Reply:
March 31st, 2011 at 7:50 pm
@Harty, If those are the problems, all of a sudden with the PP… what’s the excuse for the rest of the season with healthy players who could skate?
Kings were a bit sloppy in their zone, though. I agree on that.
[Reply]
Harty Reply:
March 31st, 2011 at 7:52 pm
@xeropoint, not necessarily the problem of late, TM has had those less then fleet people on the PP all season. If they are going to play the PP get to the net, why have someone 230lbs playing on the outside, heck we have others doing that. I saw Poni go to the net and someone shot it through and a good chance. Get those big bodies in front not off to the side.
I agree with you that we were somewhat sloppy in front of quick in our end

We got lucky with the period ending up Scuderi is making me mad why he screening our own Goalie
Come on Guys keep them out and keep pushing them over dont need another repeat
Go Kings Go
Loving the 4th line LOL they seem to be controlling morethen any line right now
And the Second line as while doing good
first is alright
3rd seems to be at our end most of the time
those lines need to step it up if they want to win this game
