The view from Colorado

The Kings’ season series with the Colorado Avalanche is over, and it netted the Kings eight out of a possible eight points, as the Kings swept the series and outscored the Avalanche by a combined margin of 19-8. There will be brighter days ahead for the Avalanche, but right now it’s pretty dark, as they’ve had exactly one regulation win since Jan. 24 and are 3-20-2 overall in their last 25 games.
