The Kings outshot the Sharks 13-9 in a well-played first period for both teams. The Kings went 0-for-1 on the power play and the Sharks will be on the power play for the first 1:34 of the second period.

    Early but Moller is already playing “bigger” than I remember. Looks really comfortable and his skill is already on display with little to no signs of nerves. I had all but given up hope he’d back this year but alas, here he is! Loving this kid.

    @wavesinair, he struggled on the draw in our end, and is having a tough time on the boards, its plain to see he is European, open ice he’s great, along the boards suspect

    @Harty, Neil are you have to be kidding right? He lost the draw with 2 minutes left in our end almost resulted in a goal from the D. Then struggled on the side wall

    We gave up some good chances, we have to cut them down.
    What is Stoll thinking in the neutral zone??
    Smyth is slow, really slow, and Zues and Brown look like they want to go and can’t with no left wing support.

    @Harty, Hard to lose a draw “along the boards.” Plus, he’s playing wing, so I can’t blame him for losing a draw. OM won a few board engagements, coming away with the puck. He couldn’t get the puck out once, but he was outnumbered and didn’t get much of a pass. That’s happened to a lot of our wings this year. It’s not rocket science figuring out our breakout.
