Will you go all in?

A reminder that the Kings’ “Rivalry Hold `em Poker Challenge” will be held on April 7 at the San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino in Banning, near San Bernardino. The charity even has a $25 buy-in, and the nature of the competition — other than the poker itself — is to see whether the Kings or Ducks can register more fans/players for the event. Proceeds from the registration fees collected from Kings fans will go toward the Kings Care Foundation. The tournament starts at 7 p.m. and is scheduled to run until approximately midnight. That’s if you’re a good player, and make it to the final table. By then, I’m certain to be a spectator. I’ll be playing, along with Kings representatives such as Luc Robitaille, Bob Miller, Jim Fox, Nick Nickson, Daryl Evans, Heidi Androl, Nelson Emerson, Marty McSorley, Mark Hardy and Pete Demers, among others. Cash prizes will total $10,000, and more information can be found at www.lakings.com/poker.
