Willie Mitchell’s postgame thoughts…
MITCHELL: “We played really well tonight. We had a bad bounce on the first goal and we just couldn’t beat [Ray] Emery. We played exactly how we want to play. If we play like that, more times than not we’ll get the results we want. We get a point, we lose in OT against a team obviously we would like to win against in regulation to put a bigger gap between us. With that being said, I was really proud of the group and the guys and how we responded after the last game.”
(on looking ahead to the Calgary game…)
MITCHELL: “It seems like everyone is playing each other right now. Everyone wants to scoreboard watch, there’s no doubt about it, it’s just instinct. We really have to worry about our preparation and our focus, our process, the things that we do well. If we keep doing the things that we did tonight I like our chances to get in here.”
Great game. I’m proud of these guys. They got a point. Good job!!!
GO GINGS GO!!!

Saw the interview with Willy on Kings live, and the eye’s looking better. I wonder if it will scar? Maybe a visit to see a plastic sergeon during the summer is in order. Good game Mitchell.

Good game Mitchell. I appreciate how you cover up for Doughty’s mistakes just as I appreciate Scuds for covering up for Johnson.

@Jeeves, That is why you have veteran stay at home d-men paired with young offensive minded d-men,The younger players are going to make many more mistakes before they get it.And Willie and Scuds would be the first to say there is no crying in Hockey lol.
