Friday practice update

Kyle Clifford will not play tomorrow against Anaheim. His injury is still officially being called an upper-body injury, but Terry Murray alluded to the NHL’s new concussion-evaluation policies when discussing Clifford. Brad Richardson will return to the lineup and Jonathan Quick will start in goal.

As for the booing firestorm, Murray softened his tone a bit today, using the word “overreaction” to describe his statements last night, and expressed his support for fans. Drew Doughty, on the other hand, said he wasn’t happy with the booing but accepted it as a part of the game. More on all this, and other notes and quotes, to come.
