Anze Kopitar’s postgame thoughts…
(on what he was thinking when he had the breakaway…)
KOPITAR: “Lately, I haven’t been real successful in the shootouts, so that crossed my mind a little bit. I went in pretty confident. I just tried to stick to my move. I knew what I was going to do. I’ve beaten him on that move, so I guess it was a good move, but just getting in there and getting that breakaway out of the box, it felt pretty nice.”
(on the other two goals…)
KOPITAR: “The first one, I was standing there and I was actually hoping Jack was going to pass it to me, and obviously he did. I just re-directed it. The second one, I came around the net and I saw Willy pass it to the point, so I went to the net and i was fortunate enough to get a stick on that puck and just re-direct it in.”
(on the hat trick against Columbus…)
KOPITAR: “It’s definitely not easy playing against them, because they have a good team and everything. Some nights are better than others.”
the franchise player, right here.
at least when he wants to be that is

@jp,
at least when he wants to be? WHAT?
Dude is 7th in points (btwn Ovi and Zetter), plays defense, and has done it all with 9 diff. LWs. Find another leading centerman who’s done all that with so little to work with.
Why can’t you just give the guy his props and leave it at that? Give it a rest.
Kopi, you’re awesome. Keep up the good work.

Congratulations Kopi!!!! I saw at least one hat on the ice. I saw a white one behind the goal.

@kinginsaltlake,
Posted earlier:
Kopitar-23 years old. Tied for 7th in NHL scoring, and the 3rd highest scoring center in the league behind Stamkos and H. Sedin. 2nd in +\- amongst centers, behind Toews, at a +22 and 13th overall. He just played his 323rd consecutive game, and will tie Marcel Dionne’s franshise record on Sunday in Dallas. Ask yourself…Under-rated? Go Kings!..and congrats Kopi!
Haters have absolutely nothing to say…

Kopitar natural hattrick!! Wow!! Good to see him score again.. Props to Williams and Penner. They are making each other good and better after every game. We need more secondary scoring and third in order successful in the long stretch and postseason. We have two good goalie and a strong team..scary!!

How does “Anze KopiSTAR” sound? Congrats on your Hat Trick buddy!!!!! Awesome!!!!

Kopi’s alot like Robitaille was. When he’s hot the goals come in bunches. When he’s not it can be weeks between goals. Nice to see him hot again. Now lets make dallas see stars
