    With the head injuries, it is almost like in football where the protective equipment has gotten so light and works so well players are putting themselves in more vulnerable situations. Add in the fact of bigger size and faster speed equals more injuries. Bit of a catch-22.

    Well that was pretty cool. Accept my wife kept butting in while I was trying to listen. Wife’s just don’t get it sometimes. Look I’m sorry if I hurt her feelings. The Kings sometimes comes first. She never says anything when her lame shows are on. Sometimes a man has got to have his own space. She needs to get off my back. These kinds of interviews are great. I’m glad the guys at the top take the time to answer some of the season ticket holders questions. Now if only they had the time to answer ours from the Insider. If by chance they ever look in on our blog site they probably think we are a insane bunch. I just wished we knew if anyone really reads our stuff. It’s like sometimes I think I’m writing to someone in the Big Office and they are listing to some of my lame reasons how I can make the Kings better. In reality I know that I’m just a fan who cares for his boyhood club and will always think that I know better then anyone else. God, Ego is a Killer!! I really like what our top guys are doing with this club. Life as a Kings fan has been so F’nn crazy these last 3 years. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. A few Pre- Seasons ago the Kings came here for a game vs the Sharks. I went by myself and was right along the boards. We lost that night, but I knew that something was different with the new Kings club. It’s been nothing but Late nights watching NHL Center Ice, DVRing games when needed, and saving up to maybe catch a game live. It’s been one crazy ride and I wouldn’t change any of it. I say this now because we just got off a big win. Watch if we should lose tomorrow I’ll be right back to stepping off the edge of madness again, that’s what is great about being a fan as of late, we have taken the face of the team and put it on ours. That face is a face of two, The two faced villain in Batman and Dr. Jekyll and MR. Hyde..We are the yin and yang of the NHL and that’s why they call me Johnny…….

    @kinginsaltlake, I hope they don’t look at the blog, My guess is it would be a downer to see 20 or less responses after a win and 100+ after every loss with tons of whinning about lack of effort. I really have gotten into the habit of just reading what Rich writes after losses and exiting the blog, and lonely reading comments after wins. Keeps the reading light anyway.

    @luc20rules, The players would quit if they read this blog after a loss and saw all the things people say on this blog hahaha we do it out of love though right?

    @luc20rules,

    I can’t stand ANY hockey news after we lose.

    When we win I can’t get enough.

    This is a sick, sick addiction.

    One of these days I’m gonna wake up in a Long Beach motel room — my pants gone, my wallet gone, my memory of how I got there gone, with Staples Center ticket stubs scattered all over the floor.

    @tuan jim,

    Thats wierd, thats how I felt after TM announced the recent change to the PP. Someone told me that JK probably had my wallet.

    @tuan jim, Just don’t go to the Best Western on Long Beach Bl.

    @tuan jim, Ha…I actually had a friend from Ireland visiting, book a hotel there before he asked me for a good reccomendation…poor guy!

    @kinginsaltlake, hahahaha, man you guys are funny, all of you. It is actually pretty fun to read comments here now and then, people have really interesting thoughts sometimes.

    I love the Kings, no matter what. My wife realizes this, and it is not a coincidence that I named my son to Liam Andersson (LA!!!). Ok, I voted for Anze, but my wife did not like it :) Strange though, since she also is from the same region as Kopitar, former yugoslavia.

    @uknojata, He was probably nervous because he was about to explain to us season ticket holders why our seat prices were going up! Haha

    SDGolfer Reply:

    @puddle, That’s not his job to explain to you why seat prices are going up.

    @Real 7, apparently Rich is now considered the Kings “seventh power” – this needs to be added to his bio. We’ll leave off the part about him describing hockey players as “slender” though. He might not be invited into the locker room any more. :)

    !!!WARNING!!!
    Hey if anyone lives near the beach, try to stay inland today. West coast has a Sinami Warning Advisory because of the Earthquake in Tokoyo. 1 hour till it hits. Alot of Kings players who live in Manhatten Beach should see that their families and their safety. Kingsfans Be Aware if you live on the coast.

    Might be nothing, might be something worth taking precautions against.

    @nykingfan, there really is nothing to worry about….the possible “wave of water” that is to arrive in the next 45 minutes will be less than 5ft.

    we get bigger winter swells all the time. Northern Cali is expected to get a bigger one, but nothing to be concerned with….
