First, a reminder that tomorrow’s game will be tape-delayed on Prime Ticket and will start at 7:30 p.m. Pacific time. There will be the usual updates here on the blog, so if you want updates, or if you’re trying to avoid them and simply watch the game, please be mindful of that. Moving on, Dean Lombardi, Ron Hextall and Jeff Solomon did one of their “GM Breakfast” meetings with season-ticket holders on Sunday, and the Kings’ video crew filled much of it. There are a series of clips, and I’ll start posting a few of them below. In this group, discussion includes Anze Kopitar, the power play, player development, Dustin Brown and Marco Sturm and the waiver process. The videos are below…
Any way to watch it live?

@Guss,
If you have Center Ice, the Blue Jackets will broadcast it live, 7 PM ET. DirecTV channel 660, Fox Sports Ohio.

@Sydor25, Wouldn’t that fall under the blackout restrictions?

@Guss, with Center Ice here in Colorado my guide says both the home and away broadcasts will be live.
Maybe I will set the DVR to record both just in case.

Darn Prime Ticket. I already had to sacrifice the Red Wing game to KCOP. Now I have to wait till Sunday, or travel to Orange County, to watch some Kings hockey. Comcast please get Fox Sports West 2 will ya.

@Dominick,
Where do you live that you don’t get KCOP? I live in Ventura County and I get it. (I also get FSW and PT)

@Ezra, I think he’s from the San Diego area, heard him mentioned it on here before. Why I remember that piece of info is beyond me.

@Dominick,
I remember a time when the Kings broadcast 15 games in a season and that was a treat, no complaints from me. If the game was not on tv then I relied on my radio. Today, every single Kings games are on the television, whether it’s on Ch. 13, Fox Sports or on VS. That is a HUGE luxury! I am not about to gripe over ONE game being shown tape delay!

‘Less than he started with…… that’s all I know’. Classic. DL is even better than I thought he was. He must know his stuff. That was quick and off the cuff. Excellent.

Thanks for posting RH! We see you taking advantage of Tim Adams’ training regiment… Kudos to you.
I’m having trouble with viewing the Power Play segment… Coincidence?

After viewing the PP vid, I honestly wish I hadn’t. With all respect to the Club, Deano’s response was ROUGH!
Witnessing the pressure on the GM. Directly in front of, and responding to, a most demanding live audience. AKA an self-imposed inquisition. It’s all rhetorical. Except for the bill in the season ticket holder’s mailbox, at season’s end.
#TigerBlood time? No. That’s crazy talk! Time for #LAKINGS #WINNING!

Rich thanks for posting these videos up, but just a heads up.. I was only able to watch 2 of the videos, the other ones didn’t load
Thanks

The interesting thing about Sturm is that while he was placed on waivers to maintain an open roster spot the day after the deadline Penner had to clear customs and lost a game anyway. It appears placing Sturm on waivers was unnecessary.

I was lucky to make it! Lots of fun. It was pretty funny how some of the fans worded the questions.

The questions about Clune and Kopitar are so mind-numbingly bad, I seriously can’t believe these people are even paying tacit attention to the organization.

@harglebargle, Especially when you consider the guy had a Tafolli jersey, and spent the money to go to Manchester.
One would hope if you are that into the team, you would already know this answer.
I went to a few of these when I lived in LA and my family had season seats…some of the question were so bad is was crazy.

@mrbrett7, There’s no such thing as a bad question… oh wait I forgot I wasn’t in class. (:

we didn’t lose anything for Sturm but i still don’t know why DL didn’t put Harrold on waivers.
the question about Kopitar was ridiculous.

@Dave, That’s easy. Harrold can play both defense and forward. He’s too valuable if there is a rash of injuries.

@mrbrett7, Agreed, these kinds of “Utility” players are valuable when roster movement is limited and you head into the playoffs.
BTW what game had we lost the day before this breakfast? Was it DAL?
Dang, Hexy can still rock the ‘stache and not look retro 80′s.

@Bob Bobson, this was Sunday morning i beleive, so the game before was VAN from Sat. afternoon.
Why would they bother delaying it? I’m not going to fly to Ohio to see them live if that’s what they’re thinking.

I guess 2 of 3 isn’t bad, but SJ got a OTL point point tonight. Phx 3 vs Calg 0 & Nash 4 vs Minn 0 ended in Regulation thankfully. I am just hoping for no OTL points for the Kings rivals.

I’m all for the retro jerseys, but I don’t like the 70′s-style tape-delays. This is not good, Kings!

It shouldn’t be bad here, but I feel really sorry for those poor people not only in japan, but in New Zealand and Chili. Makes me wonder if we’re in for “the big one” in Southern California anytime soon. Go Kings!

I found it interesting that I was able to see all the videos except the one on the powerplay. It wouldn’t play for some reason. Just a bit ironic.
