@What's the frequency, Kenneth?

Especially since he will only have played 55-59 games, as opposed to 72. Whether or not Quick can handle the full-season workload is still an open question.

@D B COOPER, i agree with you on both points a lot of people on here are gonna say that "there's no shootouts in the playoffs" but sometimes we need to grab those extra points out of the shootout in order to get enough points for the playoff just pray that there isn't breaker. Being able to track the puck well and predict what the opposition is going to do also carries into the real game as well, having that said i am not bashing bernier i think he is a fantastic goalie very strong positionally and very composed, but do i think he is better than quick? not at this point in time, do i care who is playing? as long as we get 2 points everynight i honestly dont see the difference. We all know both goalies can play very well, and there should be confidence with either going into the game.

am i alone on Bernier not providing alot of confidence like i have w/quicker? jonathan 2 seems evergame to leave a fat rebound right at this feet. i don't know what the problem is with that element repeating, it happened the last game too, but he recovered and fell on it. also, since we score 1 goal a game, Jonathan 1 is just awesome on the shoot-outs, not so with jonathan 2. i get jon 2 needs to play, but i get nervous with him in net.

that goes to issue #2: NO POWER PLAY. certainly takes pressure off the goalies who can never make 1 mistake since we can only get 1 goal a game with ZERO assistance from what can only be discribed, the worset adjective in sports, i think, a HAPLESS pp! god, we are so uncreative with our insistance on Perimeter passing, hopeing a defensemen will fall down so we can get, at least, an unblocked shot on goal. AGAIN, for the umpteenth time, we have a 5 on 3 and there isn't a shot or a dangerous attempt. I CANNOT TAKE IT. if we make the playoffs, we will be felated without at minimum, the Threat of scoring on the PP; it is so clear how opponents think about our ability to form any creative sequencing to be dangerous. they just stay fronted to our shooters. someone please help before it is too late!

that's my rant for this week(again). we are toast w/o one.

@Shotongoal, Your bottom line makes no sense. Look at THE REAL WORLD, and you see that Quick has been basically solid, and has not "struggled" lately. He's had one bad game in the last dozen. I'm glad Bernier got his game together, though.

@Paul G, This is a really crappy time to get inside your goaltenders' heads. A smooth rotation down the stretch makes sense, and if one goaltender doesn't have it, it THEN makes sense to give that goaltender more of the games.

@capt jam, About two months ago he wasn't "firmly hoisting JQ onto the no. 1 pedestal." Remember "win you're in?"

@billanthony, That assertion was destroyed last time it was brought up. He isn't a new father any more, there was no Olympics trip, and he's played fewer games. It won't be an issue this season.

Excuse a mini sales pitch, but anyone interested in (4) "season ticket holder" tickets for Sunday, 3.13, 2pm game vs. Dallas at the AAC in Dallas? I have seats 1-4, sec 112, row G. Face value is $125, but they are yours, Kings fans, for $70 per ticket. Email me at reedstacey1@hotmail.com or 248-320-2905 Thanks.

@brian spain, well then I guess its a good thing that they don't have shootouts in the playoffs!! If JQ keeps playing the way he has over the last few weeks the Kings won't have to worry about the playoffs. I could care less about anyone's head, I want this team in the playoffs and competing for the Cup, so if that means Bernier is the one, then so be it. Quick has been the MVP of this team, but lately he has struggled, please, you talk about rebounds, did you see the VAN game? Quick gave up plenty of loooong rebounds in that game. Right now you go with the hot hand, and Bernier has just been better, bottom line....
