Wednesday practice update; Bernier in

Jonathan Bernier will start in goal tomorrow night against Phoenix. Terry Murray said the choice to start Bernier had “just about everything to do with the last game,” in which Jonathan Quick allowed six goals. As expected, Dustin Penner will play tomorrow in a first-line role and will also get power-play time. Also, as (unfortunately) expected, Andrei Loktionov will require season-ending shoulder surgery following his injury with Manchester last week. More notes and quotes from practice to come…
