    mcsorleyfan Reply:

    @puck73, I, too, approve this one; as much as I hope that KW eventually achieves what the organization wants from him. Tonight I am afraid he wouldn’t be able to catch up with anyone to intimidate. Having been the big body in that situation, it’s pretty damned frustrating! That feeling that I’d knock hell out of the guy if he’d only fall down so I could catch him…lol

    @Kwvin, has to deal with immigration first

    [Reply]

    bluecoconuts Reply:

    @Loskingpride, I’m actually shocked he has to deal with immigration at all since he still owns a home here in LA. I dunno how it all works, but I’m sure that’ll be done first thing in the morning, if not already. I expect he’ll fly down tomorrow morning, get his physical, and be practicing on Wednesday.

    [Reply]

    LAPD line Reply:

    @bluecoconuts, I’m pretty sure Teubert also has to pass his physical before either player can practice or play with their new team.

    bluecoconuts Reply:

    @LAPD line, that would actually make sense. I’d expect he does his physical tomorrow as well. I don’t see why they’d put it off any. I’m still putting my money on Wednesday. :)

    Kingsfanone Reply:

    @bluecoconuts,

    Apparently because his former employer was Canadien, he needs to get a visa change. His having a home in L.A. has nothing to do with it.

    He may or may not be done with all the paperwork by Thursday & be ready to play.

    The right move. TM obviously has been inspired by DL. Or maybe he just looked at the Wings’ 4th line.
    Go Kings! Work their old D hard; bust their center lane drive; make sure at the blue line (both ways); and never fall for the Ref Wings baiting you the penalty calls go only one way.

    At this point in the season, does anybody think we need KW in tghe lineup anymore when we play against any team still in the playoff hunt?

    My reasoning is this: Any team in the hunt will most likely try to limit even their minor penalties, let alone taking a cheap shot and having the possibility of a major penalty and the possbility of losing a player to a suspension. I think his “deterrent” affect will be limited (as it will in the playoffs), not to mention his ineffective play and the stat I recently saw someone post on here that he is in the bottom 15 in +/- per minutes played.

    [Reply]

    jess Reply:

    @linny, westy has a deterrent affect?

    [Reply]

    linny Reply:

    @jess, LOL…accrding to some, yes, but I’m not in that circle. Not all teamas have a heavyweight and with Cliffy and Simmer hangin around I don’t think Westgarth need suit up for the rest of the seaason.

    [Reply]

    jess Reply:

    @linny,

    yeah I don’t want to deal on him too much just seems like he doesn’t fit in the puzzle right now (did he ever?).

    linny Reply:

    @linny, thanks for the replies Jess…much appreciated!

    Dominick Reply:

    @linny,
    Wether you realize it or not, there hasn’t been a real need to have him in the line up for a while now.

    Hasn’t stopped TM from putting him in the line up yet. Probably won’t stop him next week, or the week after that either.

    Nothing illegal about gritty play, i.e., hard hits, screening goalie, intimidating the Wings as a whole.

    Westy is a liability in the 3rd period (and 2nd period and oh yeah, the 1st) and forces TM to shorten the bench. Harrold gives us a better chance at 4 lines throughout. GKG!

    Nice move. When DP (Icky moniker) gets here, it is back to the pine for Harry. Hope he does an AM and plays too well to get benched!

    @edwood2, That is extremely icky. We need to get a middle initial for him.

    [Reply]

    DesertKing Reply:

    @4lakngz,

    Instead of “Penny,” how about “1 cent” ;( Really looking forward to seeing him play. I was bummed about the 3-day period between tonights game and the next one, but it will actually work out to get Penner into town and a couple of practices in with his new team. First things first, lets take 2 points from the Wings and apply more pressure to the Yotes.

    I spoke to Harrold about this and he told me it is definitely tough because he wants to play every night but he knows his role on the team. He said you kind of get used to it and wait for your night to play again. I’m actually really glad he is in tonight against a good Red Wing team. Good luck to him and the Kings tonight.

    [Reply]

    Dominick Reply:

    @EASportsMgt, I think it’s a great statement to the depth of our team to have him in the rotation hungry to play. If there is any injuries, I don’t think anybody would complain about Harrold waiting in the wings. Great attitude and a solid positional player, I hope he gets an oppurtunity to get a fulltime roster spot next summer.
