Kings 1, Avalanche 0

The Kings’ newly constructed first line came through with the game’s first goal. Brad Richardson controlled the puck behind the Colorado net and carried it out front. Elliott made a stop, but the rebound stayed in the crease and Anze Kopitar knocked in the rebound to give the Kings a 1-0 lead 7:13 into the first period. Wayne Simmonds also picked up an assist on Kopitar’s 20th goal of the season.

Great Start. This team is starting to come together at a critical time. They really do learn alot when you lose alot.

@JLVIV, Actually, its both. We are starting to play better, and the Avalanche have a bad defense and chemistry issues..its obvious.

Dear altitude TV, its pretty rare that I get to watch the Kings on TV without leaving my house, so if you could be so kind as to fix your stupid TV network and allow me to watch the game that would be great.

@GreyPaws, i was just going to post this too. all we’re really missing is that sniper who can pop in 40 along with having 4 20-goal scorers and we’re set. Stolly also has a shot @ getting 20, he’s sitting @ 16 right now.

I HATE the Kings’ telecasts sound!!

The on-ice microphones and the crowd are way too quiet. Bob and Jim are blaring, and yes, I love them, but someone turn up the microphones on the ice! You can barely hear the stick to stick passes, the hits, the crowd, agh!!! Watching other games on Center Ice, some telecasts have it just right and you can hear everything so clearly!

I have listen to sportnet, TSN and Nhl.com. Fans just don’t understand what kind of player we have in Scheen. Ingila who has been 50 goal to 40 and now only 30 has never lead his team to anywhere. Richards got injuries problem. Just like every expert and Dean knows Scheen put be a big mistake to give any trade. Dean needs to come out and say that Scheen is untouchable to make things clear to everyone. All teams all eyeing him and could be why the deal is not happening. Do not trade Scheen Dean. I repeat DO NOT trade SCHEEN. It would be Cam Neely kind of trade.
