Report: Sturm on waivers

ESPN.com’s Pierre LeBrun has learned that Kings winger Marco Sturm is among the players who was placed on waivers this morning. Teams would have a 24-hour period, starting a few minutes ago, to put in claims for Sturm, after which the Kings can decide what to do, starting with “absolutely nothing” and then getting more significant from there, in terms of making a roster spot available.
