Jonathan Quick’s postgame thoughts…
(on the game…)
QUICK: “It was a tough one, as a team. We’ve been playing really well on the road here, and we would have liked it to have finished up the way it was going. Unfortunately it hasn’t, so we’ve got to go back, we’ve got to regroup and we’ve got to get ready for Anaheim now.”
(on what the Islanders were doing well…)
QUICK: “They’ve got a lot of speed. They’re good around the net. They’ve got some players that can bury it around the net. Montoya played a good game for them. He played well. He made saves. So that’s a good formula to win.”
Must of been lonely as the only Kings player on the ice tonight,Make the west pay the rest of the way lets go Kings playoffs or bust.

It had to happen at least once on this road trip. Need to focus on the prize and kick-ass

I wanna know where was the payback for Kopitar getting blind sided by that rookie. Westgarth = useless.

@KC23, Why have a enforcer in the line up if you don’t send him out to retaliate for cheap shots on your best player unbelievable. The kings ran out of there with their tails between their legs.
