Islanders 2, Kings 0

The Islanders took a 2-0 lead 6:54 into the second period, as former Kings forward Matt Moulson beat Quick, his brother-in-law. PA Parenteau pushed the puck to the right circle where Moulson steadied it and then, with Rob Scuderi standing directly in front of him, whipped a high wrist shot past Quick.

@wavesinair, I agree, we aren’t converting on chances, our defenseman are playing terrible with reads and positioning and the other teams in our division are all playing tonight. We have to have these points especially against the frickin Islanders this is ridiculous…Very frustrating and annoying when they don’t show up

What? Westy isn’t Murray’s scoring forward & he’s not in the game for his creativity & skill?

Could you have predicted this could’ve happened? Kopi would get run & no one retaliates? Hey Murray, you’re the coach, start coaching.

Did I miss the part where the Islanders won the Cup last year and are leading the East by 24 points on their way to the Presidents Trophy this year?!?! Judging by how they are playing against the Kings you would think so. I mistakenly took them for doormats. . .

The Isles are FAR more dangerous on our PP than the Kings are.
