Not exactly the lord of the ring

Yesterday, we talked about Rob Scuderi returning to Pittsburgh for the first time since winning the Stanley Cup with the Penguins in 2009. When the Penguins visited Staples Center last season, Scuderi was privately presented his ring by part-owner Ron Burkle, who views in the Los Angeles area. The ring hasn’t really been seen since, so I asked Scuderi if he ever wears it.

SCUDERI: “No. I’m not a jewelry person, so it’s in a bank at home in Boston. That’s about as close as it will get to my finger, I think. It’s something nice that you have, but certainly not something that I keep around the house or, definitely, on my hand.”
