Drew Doughty gave the Kings a 2-0 lead at the 7:31 mark. Anze Kopitar won an offensive-zone faceoff and pushed the puck back to Doughty. At the blue line, Doughty faked a shot, took a couple strides and ripped a slap shot from the top of the right circle that beat Ilya Bryzgalov, through traffic.

really happy about this hopefully this inspires doughty to shoot the puck more often –been watching him get rid of it along the boards like a hot potato for most of the season.

After seeing that still photo and hearing Hanzal’s comments, the Kings need to make the rest of the season an “us against the world” mentality.
That may fire up the team like it appears they are now.
TM can say, “See? Even the NHL does not want us to succeed, so we must go out there and take it!”
