Greene postgame quotes

Matt Greene’s postgame thoughts…

(on being shut out…)
GREENE: “I think the offensive guys did a good job. Their goalie had a great game tonight and they did a good job at clearing pucks. I think we had our chances and we had the pressure on us a lot of the night, and it’s unfortunate to give up two as quick as we did there. The good news is we get another crack at it in a couple of days.”

(on Hanzal’s disputed goal…)
GREENE: “When I saw it during the play I didn’t think it was a good goal, but obviously they got the benefit of video replay, so they could take a closer look. It’s their call. That happens during a game and it was good for them on the scoreboard, so that’s all that really matters.”

(on finding a way to end the slump…)
GREENE: “Just doing what we’re doing and sticking to the game plan. I think we had a few good games here. We’ve been working hard, just not getting rewarded for it on the score sheet but it will come. We just have to keep playing our game plan like we are and it’s going to happen for us.”
