Undisputed: Jack Johnson

You might remember, a couple weeks back, the trailer video for the “Undisputed” video series that the Kings’ video staff has been working on this season. Well, the first episode has now been released, and it centers around Jack Johnson. It’s the first of an eight-part series, and each video will highlight a different player. The video is scheduled to be shown on tonight’s broadcast, but here’s a first look… Also, the “My Story” series continues in print, with Johnson talking about his journey from childhood to the NHL…

    Dont think anybody cares too much right now about “indisputed”…when the Kings as a whole are a broken joke.

    @T Contreras,

    It my feeling this is about moral and stringing out the changes that we all know will be taking place.

    I doubt much will change until the Vet players on the margins know their jobs are secure. Why try if your about to be bumped by a rookie or traded to a loser?

    Can’t say this applies to Doughty’s recent play but the others…Stoll, Zus, Richardson, Poni, Sturm, DD2 etc.

    All put in a lot of effort at the start of this season just to see their names on the “you may be dumped list”.

    Need to get past this quickly. Pick up that Winger and Defenseman, bring up Loki and Moller and move on…get it over with! Hope that good and affordable player we need comes up quickly…

    @pr0cess, I think its Undisputed….

    and I think you are going a bit over board… Streaky season, and we are on one of the bad ones…

    We need to get on another good one and KEEP it going. The All Star break can’t come soon enough.

    This isn’t on you, Hammer, or, for that matter, on the organization. However, these things are much more entertaining, even fun, when the team is winning. I wonder if maybe it makes sense to release these things when fans aren’t so…pissed.

    @What’s the frequency, Kenneth?, Agreed, and I don’t even feel like watching it lol.

    But I think maybe they release it now as a distraction??

    Or it is all just scheduled and they don’t really have a choice but to release it now.

    I watched a couple days ago and I was kind of disappointed. I thought we were going to see behind the scenes shots, rather than interviews.

    I love it and so glad Jack signed a long term with the team. Kings are doing badly at the moment and we all feel let down but, these young players will get it done. But make it sooner than later, please.

    pr0cess Reply:

    @ziggyfan, he is not so young anymore

    ziggyfan Reply:

    @pr0cess, To me he still is young and especially as a defenseman, he is young. Only recently NHL has turned into “young men’s game” starting with Sid Crosby but, in defense, it takes time for guys to develop into a steady force and only experience will give that in my opinion.
