Dustin Brown’s postgame thoughts…
(on the recent skid…)
BROWN: “We’ve got to find a way to get it going, as players. We need to look each other in the face and get this thing turned around. I’m not sure what we need to do, but we’ll figure it out as players.”
(on the game…)
BROWN: “It was a game of momentum. We were doing all the right things at the beginning of the game, in the first period, and got away from it. It doesn’t make a difference if we’re not building on the momentum.”
(on whether it feels like the season is slipping away…)
BROWN: “I think it’s definitely at stake. I don’t think it’s out of reach. There’s a lot of hockey to be played. We need to figure out what we need to do here, and turn it around. There’s a lot of hockey to be played, but this homestand was really important. We definitely let the opportunity slip by, playing at home.”
