Jonathan Quick’s postage thoughts…
(on the game-winning goal…)
QUICK: “It hit me in the shoulder. To be completely honest, I thought it might have been in off my shoulder, so I tried to lean in a little bit, so it didn’t go in. It ended up falling right in the crease there. I believe it was Dewey [Drew Doughty] who tried to clear it, and it took a tough bounce off somebody’s skate.”
(on starting this homestand 0-3…)
QUICK: “I think it’s just that we need to do everything for the full 60 (minutes). Tonight we came out and we had a great first period. We got away from it a bit in the second and third there. Aside from that, I think we’re doing a lot of good things, some things to build off, but obviously we need to clean up parts of our game here and there.”
