Sunday practice update; Quick tomorrow

Jonathan Quick will start in goal for the Kings tomorrow, not surprising given that Terry Murray has kept the goalie play balance of late and that the Kings have two days between games after tomorrow.

Willie Mitchell skated again after practice but his return is still not imminent. Alexei Ponikarovsky did not skate, and Murray said he had not yet received a medical update on Ponikarovsky. Murray did say that he didn’t know if Ponikarovsky would be considered “day-to-day or week-to-week,” which isn’t exactly an optimstic declaration. More notes and quotes to come…
