The Kings are roughly a half hour into practice, without Alexei Ponikarovsky or Willie Mitchell on the ice. Otherwise, it’s the same lines and pairs as in the past few games. More updates from practice to come…

@wavesinair, Maybe he is thanking the team for being the cause for him to lose his job!

Same lines? So does this mean we will see Zus, Cliff and Westy?

@Harry, Same lines. Martinez had a long talking to by TM. I was wondering if maybe Harrold might play. Then again, Martinez has been strong so I don’t see that happening.

Murray will probably decide to keep Poni off the ice until Monday against the Hawks.
Dean needs to make a move and add a verteran Dman who doesn’t back down from the blueline.
Doughty and Johnson need to be broken up. To much testosterone for offense with that unit that is why there is mass confusion, which had led to this 48 hour nightmare.

@Steve, I’ll agree with you on the last one. It was “exciting” for a while pairing those two, but it’s killing the defense. Each needs (for now) to work with a stay-at-home type partner.
