    @puck73, I got a real kick out of the “trade Schenn” wagon too. Boy, that would really be smart.

    It’s now 3 to 1 Ducks. Hopefully Stephanie Auger is not a referee for tomorrow nights Kings game.

    I wonder what Dean Lombardi is doing right now besides looking at his player charts.

    It’s unrelated to the Kings, but let’s give it up for Mitch Callahan who scored the gwg for team USA. He’s a Red Wings prospect, but a local kid out of Whittier.

    @Trevor,

    Local is right… Maybe some of you might remember his dad Mike Callahan, who starred for the LA Blades of RHI… Those were fun days back at the fabulous forum!

    The Juniors are in Buffalo are they not? I watched the Canada-Sweden game, and the crowd was 90% Canada. Time for the USA game, hardly any US fans.
    Crazy if USA meets Canada in Semi’s.

    Kid can’t even score two goals or two assits per game. Poor drafting?

    Bummer he couldn’t get one when it mattered most in the SO.

    This puts to rest any remaining debate about whether he should have stayed with Kings. Leading Canada in an international tournament beats watching Westgarth flub one of Schenn’s passes.

    @JB, Totally agree, Brayden Schenn is a future #1 or #2 center. Playing him as a #4 center, or even a winger is a complete waste of time. Hell, even TM said so in a recent interview with Rich. Brayden Schenn is not only a player who gets goals and assists, but he is also a guy who will go to the front of the net like Kyle Clifford and pay the price..why do you think Brian Burke wants this guy so bad?! When Schenn, and Clifford were drafted, their was a lot of GM’s who were trying to get DL to trade these guys away, guess what? They are not going anywhere!

    Next season, with Handzus gone, I’d put Stoll with Simmonds/Clifford, and put Schenn with 2nd-line guys (whomever that might be at the time-JWilliams? Smyth?)

    WE could actually have 4 strong lines for the first time.
    Stoll, IMO, is a super 3rd-line guy, but only a relatively average 2nd-liner.

    Schenn’s arrival would give help Stoll stay in his most appropriate roll on 3rd line, whilke maybe getting us more production than we’ve had from our so-called “2nd-Line” in the recent past.
