    Get all the bad out in 1 night, don’t spread it out over several. Give the ‘Yotes credit, we went in their crib and they punched us in the face. Kings weren’t ready or they took the ‘Yotes lightly or maybe both. Just a bad game that every team has from time to time. Turn the page and come out flying against the Flyers.

    Bad team effort and it cost us. Add to that a Phoenix team that came out hungry and you get what we got. But tomorrow is a bounce back game and we’ll be ready! Thanks again Rich for incredible coverage!

    Awful. Had to turn the game off after the 6th goal. Looked like there was no gas in the tank after San Jose and as usual, we took for granted a team low in the standings. Not looking forward to the Flyers…

  11. Just too many turnovers. Please stay in the system Kings. Terry You had lost your team for more than half the game because they thought they beat the sharks so bad and thought that its easy. If you dont punish them for long stkate and be nice you will lose your job because the players dont stay in the system. It wasnt just turnovers it was odd man rushes. Goalie didnt paly good. Every team have games like this one long as they bouce back. The seven game sikd before If that happens again your fired. Nhl.com said La Kings are one of the best team in hockey. I disagree because of today you dont beat a team like Sharks so well and lose to the dogs sorry. Until they add a sinper on top line and play defence and have Willy healthy they are the top team. I dont think even would make the playoffs if they dont play like they are now. I think they can only play worst not better than now.

    More good games this year than stinkers so far, so that’s a good thing. To lose like this to a division rival hurts. Would have rather they won tonight and lost to the Flyers, but them’s the breaks.

    Disappointed in the effort put forth, as I’m sure the players are also disappointed. Need to bounce back and win tomorrow.

    WE SHOULD BE CHANTING SCHENN SCHENN SCHENN at Staples center! Thanks Organization for putting a kid NHL ready on a Hockey team with 17 year olds…Another Financial decision..

    @I’m Just Saying”,

    Shenn played 8 games for the Kings, nhl and world jr’s are apples and oranges… i agree it was a financial decision, it was also the correct one.

  16. goldielocks says:

    Well … The Kings just lost the division game against the team they are supposed to win. If the points between the teams in the western conference are this tight, only the division leaders will clinch playoff spot. So this is NOT OK at all.

    @lvkingaholic,

    The Kings tend to show up for games against the “marquee” teams – especially those that they seldom play against. After tonight’s farcical effort, I fully expect the Kings to resurface tomorrow with a renewed focus on defense and attention to detail.

    Don’t know what kind of jinks this team has on the Kings, but this team cannot win in this building. They totally intidate the Kings. Shan Doan needs his ass kicked. You can’t bet a team by poke checking them. Boys you have to be physical with this team. Why is it that the Kings look so timid in this building? Can it be that the Yokes have guys in the rafters with machine guns!!

    [Reply]

  21. TA says:

    Glad that one is over! Not sure if the boys were tired due to playing 4 games in 5 days or the Coyotes came out hard to make up from the loss to the Quacks last night? maybe both? Our D looked terrible, out of position and turning over the puck. Also that was the worst Quickie has looked all year, he was out of position on a few of them. Regroup boys and come out tomorrow and beat up the Flyers. P.s. I hope that Mitchell is back soon!

    Eggs all over the ice tonight. D bad, JQ was bad, O was bad. It was bad. Oh well. Emotional let down after the SJ game. Kind of expected, but still hurt my eyes to watch. Our team is young so inconsistant play will happen. Kind of glad we play tomorrow again, that way the bad taste doesn’t sit in thier craw for too long.

    Kings D-corps got exposed tonight early on and couldnt recover. Phx does seem to have our # whenever we play there but no excuses, they deserve credit for keeping the foot to the neck the whole way. but on a positive note, I thought Westy had a great game and was prolly the best winger, (if not player), through 60 minutes the Kings had tonight. Flyers tomorrow so hopefully he & Cliff can get in a few tilts to keep the competition level high for the rest of the squad should they need it. Shelley’s out, but maybe 1 of em will be salty enough to step up. would be great to see Hartnell get smashed in the face a few times. Westgarth FTW! go Kings!

    OUCH is the word I use to best describe what happened in Phoenix. DD and JJ were a MESS, JQ let 1 bad goal in. Lackadasical playing defense happened again badly. Let’s forget it and Go KINGS Go!
