The Kings, who entered the game with the second-lowest goals-against average in the NHL this season, have already tied their season high for most goals against. (They also allowed six against St. Louis and San Jose.) Shots are 22-19 in favor of Phoenix through two periods.

Boy, this is not good that it’s happening on KCOP 13.
1) Channel 13 won’t like the dip in ratings as the game went down the drain.
2) People who may more casually tune in to this more “regular” and available channel will not show interest with the team losing so badly. I was hoping for some good exposure. I think we did well though the last time on ch. 13.

Channel 13 telecasts are add-ons, not nearly as important as the Fox telecasts.

@vplaza, I’ll give you a straight answer, though. I think it’s fair to make a general comment about the hyperbole. I feel most of us here are friendly, and if I decide to get P.O.’d and just close the browser window, those of a friendly nature should consider my notice as having said “goodbye.” Of course, those who are not of a friendly nature might choose to attack me.

Fair enough. Just to reiterate, my question wasn’t an attack. I simply was curious as to the why, the need to say ‘I can’t stand it in here because it’s getting too negative, so peace out!’ when simply stepping away from the browser pretty much does the job.
But hey, it’s a free country, so no worries. Far be it for me or anyone to tell someone else what to post and what not to.

@Kingsfanone, I was taught when you add “ing” to a word ending in a consonant, you double the consonant. Then again, in retrospect, I can think of many that don’t work that way (boating, fighting, typing, faking.) Might have to do with a “long” vowel and a “short” vowel (tripping, trapping, potting, patting), in which case it should be “jobbing.” Who knows?

Honestly the only good thing bout tonight is the fact that both San Jose and Dallas lost, but we have to play better than this. GREAT teams play with consistency and it seems like that is something we lack. Getting better but still lack. Our D and goaltending has to be better especially against a Phoenix team that does not score many goals and is playing a back to back. Where is the intensity from the San Jose game? Very disappointing.

The kings thought that they were the best team in the leauge Just because they beat Sharks who had off night. The kids need some leadership role model who can tell them nothing is given to anyone who you have to earn it this level. You have to win the cups and make playoffs every year and have good runs in the playoffs to be consider a good team. Kings had more trunover this game than passes. Good teams dont play like this. This the first time I saw kings play out of the system and they fail big. When the second started awsome shift. It was only 4-3 I thought they would come back for sure. Please stay in the system. This is team game if you dont think so just look at the devils who cant win a game. 100 million doesnt buy a win. Team system and players buying into it does. Dean please sign a sinper and stay in the system we will win the cup this year or next year. Dont get late because it takes time to fit in for everybody.
