Here’s the view in San Jose this morning, with a slightly different look than last time. The first one isn’t much of a view. It’s of the interior courtyard of the hotel — although the fire pit is quite nice — and the second is of the little plaza area around the corner, for those who are still feeling festive… The Kings will be at the rink for their morning skate in approximately two hours.

Again, keep it simple against these guys too, go to the NET!

Sweet. I love Santana Row. Across the street on Winchester is a little diner called Flames with awesome deserts. The food there is really good as well. I miss that place. If you get a chance Rich, go get some pie or cake.

Ugh. Jealous. I just finished digging out.

@Kingsfanone, If it weren’t for the wind (which is what makes it a blizzard) it wouldn’t be so bad.
We ended up with about 14 inches, which isn’t terrible. It’s the wind gusts that make it a pain.

@holly,
Not to be cruel, but I watched the news & cringed, as I relaxed in my shorts & t shirt!
It did NOT look good there! Best wishes to you!

I’ll be at the Tank tonight. Can’t stand the Beat LA chants. Hopefully the Kings will stay out of the box and Quick will play like he has the last few games.

Just want to call out my buddy puck73 who is gonna take in the game up there. Have fun up there, bring us some good luck!!!

Thanks again Rich for sharing the pictures. I stay about 100 nights a year in Marriott hotels and always wondered how the Kings traveled. They travel better than I do. The best my company does is the Courtyard.

I used to have a friend that lived in the apartments over Santana Row. Nice units and great place to live. Very festive, lots to do and eat. Also, not too far from the arena. Have a great time Rich!

Here’s hoping we build on last night’s big win and Quick is well rested for the start tonight.
Big divisional points at stake the next few games.

Gotta come in a take to them tonight. Strong on the puck and take care of the neutral zone.

great courtyard view. the only time i ever got to go to a sharks game was when my unit was performing a mission up at moffett field. i took the train from mountain view to directly next to the hp pavilion, then walked a half mile to the arena. boy was it cold outside! but the convenience factor was great. love that we have that at staples–wish i could live in long beach so i could enjoy a train to and from the game each time
