I like having Westgarth available. But, I like it even better when the other team sits their enforcer.

when does a team have to list the starting lineup? Can a team say its not dressing their enforcer and then change their mind and not let the other team know? Who has the last line up change? If the Kings dont need Westy then play someone else…

Let’s not fall asleep against the Oilers! They may “suck” but they do have some fast dynamic players on that team. Hopefully the team can finish out strong in December. Here is our record month by month:
Oct. 8-3-0
Nov. 5-7-0
Dec. 6-2-1* So far with 5 Games left this month.

@mcsorleyfan,
Too bad they can’t back out on Kovalschmuck. They’ll spend the next few years revamping there line up for that one. They were’nt that far off from competing for the cup again, before Marty retires. Now instead of missing a few peices, their going to have to start from scratch, and move out all their veterans.

@Dominick, This just goes to show how the greed of 1 player can sabotage a whole organization. Thank the Hockey Gods Deano didn’t fall for that action… Hey Lou, remember Jeremy Roenick? We haven’t forgotten; you won’t either.

@KC23, I can’t stop laughing at how this has played out. Is it wrong to be so hateful just because they stole a high priced free agent from us. We should be grateful that they did.

@Dominick, I am extremely grateful to all the fans of the New Jersey Devils! Thanks to their greed and that of their organization, our team was spared this horrendous experience!

@mcsorleyfan,
They showed how they feel by losing to the NYI bad. They outshot and outplayed the Isles for 2 periods but as we all know, getting down 3-0 in the 1st period and then deciding to play just doesn’t cut it in this league. Plus Martin Brodeur had a terrible game stopping 9 of 14 shots. That’s right NYI only had 14 shots and scored 5 times. OUCH. Ilya played almost 25 minutes and was held scoreless with a minus 3. Strong work.

@54FIGHTING, I’m so choked up over it I can’t spell my own name…lol As much as we’ve endured as fans of our club I’m almost surprised we didn’t eat it this time as well. Kovalchoke is the laughing stock of the league; he’ll be on waivers before the season ends. But as you point out, it takes a whjole team to blow goats this bad. On the other hand, when your team is made of 3/4 the personel everyone else gets, the extra workload can add up, I’m sure. I feel bad for Marty. For their fans, I figure it’s someone else’s turn to cry for a change. We’re looking good for 5-10 years with a piece or 2.

@mcsorleyfan,
Cost for K-spank, $100 mill, plus fines, Draft picks, veteran players, a coach, and the respect from anybody who watches hockey.
I’m traveling for Christmas, up in Marin county. I have no TV or computer, and am sick in a bed at my in-laws. Tonight will be the first game I experience from beginning to end through the Insider blog, on my iPhone. Should be interesting.
Go Kings!

Cliffy should have passed on his opening shot; Kings looked terrible so far on the PPP against the worst PK team in the league; Cliffy lost the fight; we’re lucky we’re not down 1-0 rifht now. Wake up Kings!
