After the game, Terry Murray said Matt Greene was “good to go,” meaning Greene’s baseline testing went well and that he would be able to play Sunday against Anaheim.

Great news, while the newer defencmen have done a very admirable job, in light of not playing a lot of NHL games, there where a few times they Harrold and Martinez where exposed, especially Harrold tonight, but still, it could be much worse.

@Ravens, yup, there was one sequence where harrold was out of position and the puck went deep into our zone in the 3rd. he hustled back and due to being a fast skater caught up with the play. can’t blame him as much as DD though for being out of position, because he doesnt’ make it a habit

Greene is coming back just in time. He’ll be needed on Sunday for sure.

This team has had too many substantial injuries on d this year, first doughty then mitchell then mitchell again then mitchell again and again and greene. Willie mitchell is more fragile than my moms china cabinet, we need to make a trade to solidify our 3rd d pairing and get a legit winger for the kopitar-brown line if we want to compete with the top teams in the west like vancouver and detroit later on in the season and in the playoffs.

@Weekes22, We are not the only team with injuries. It’s part of the game and you roll with it best you can. I think the Kings are doing quite well even with the injuries they have had to deal with. I like the way the young players are stepping up. I can’t believe you are not willing to give Sturm a chance to become our legit winger. He’s only played limited minutes in two games and from what I see, he’s a keeper.

Alright Greener! Welcome back. Let’s take care of those quackers on Sunday.
