Closer then I thought it would be, Kings just seem to be one step off the puck. I’m sure they will pick it up very soon, quick one on the PP at the beginning of the period will get it started. I like Kopi on the point for sure on the PP also.

    Keep it going

Ho Hum…….I dont like seeing Clifford fight in a game like this…it took him off the ice for 5 minutes and his line seemed to be the best line so far tonight…

@neil, rookies dont usually have the option of saying ‘no’ to a scrap even if they’re playin well. now, I do agree that his line is firing and they should have more looks thru 60 mins, but all that aside he DOES need a rematch after getting OWNED by Theo in round 1. go Kings! ~ T.Vonny.

@von_swine, let’s keep it realistic. The kid lost, and he was gracious in defeat. Owned is a bit strong.

@mcsorleyfan, no disrespect to your opinion or to Cliffy for a very spirited bout, but I think thats why he nodded. Peckham really filled him w/those final shots.

    mcsorleyfan Reply:

@von_swine, Peckham clearly got him; when I think “Owned” I think of Raitis vs Big Mac or Koci vs Westgarth. Just my opinion. Scott clearly accomplished minor demolition on Westy’s mug, but Westy was clear headed enough to know he’d had enough; I suppose that one qualified as ownership, tho. But no, I’m not arguing Cliffy didn’t get stung; I guess I just have a different mark where “Pride of Ownership” is concerned. That was pretty classy to give Pecker the acknowledgement, I thought.

Doughty shoots… wide! The puck to stoll, he shoots… wide! Somebody get the puck on net! We have worse aim than the Taliban.

Feel bad for scuds, got a cut now on upper lip. Drinking Xmas dinner through a straw will be fun. Should have gotten the penalty called even though he was low on the ice. 4 mins for pity at least. Kings need to take advantage ofthe pp when they have the chance against the worst in the league pk. Didn’t look remotely good on the two chances.

Passing sucks, just like Stoll said in the interview. I really don’t like seeing Kopitar on the point during our power play. We need to get a good cycle going.

ok time to vote for kings all stars… Quick is 11th in votes with numbers that should make him 3rd or 4th in votes :(

    SBkingsfan Reply:

@jason, That’s because players in the East get most of the attention. Everything is about the Pens/Caps and Crosby/Ovi. I’m getting burnt out on it.

So, on another note… does it not tickle everyone else that NJ lost to NYI and are easily the worst team in the league?

OK. 0 for 2 on the PPP against the worst PK team in the league. Constatnt play in the King’s end. No serious attempts by the Kings. Only threat by the Kings was on the PPP with a shot to the front down low – NOT the point.
