Injury updates

The Kings will not disclose the nature of Willie Mitchell’s injury but said that, based on today’s doctor evaluation, Mitchell is considered “week to week’ and that “the plan is for him to stay with the team and get treatment while the team is on the road.” No word yet on whether a defenseman will be on the way from Manchester. Brad Richardson did indeed skate today in El Segundo but will stay in Los Angeles.
