Detroit skate update

The Kings are on the ice right now, after the Red Wings finished up their morning skate. Coach Mike Babcock announed one lineup change, with Jiri Hudler replacing Kris Draper.

Babcock also had high praise for Drew Doughty, whom he coached during the Olympics this year. Referring to Doughty’s skill, Babcock said Doughty had “been touched by God and given a gift.” Babcock also said, wih a grin, “I’d like to welcome all the L.A. people to our hockey weather.” Thanks, Mike.
