More on Marco Sturm

Marco Sturm’s full salary for this season is $3.5 million, but given that the season is approximately one-third finished, the Kings’ responsibility is roughly $2.34 million. This is the final year of Sturm’s contract. Still in recovery from his May knee surgery, Sturm is expected to be ready to play in approximately 10 days, although the Kings will learn more about that when he joins the team. That’s expected to happen sometime early in the upcoming road trip. Dean Lombardi will be available for comment during the first intermission tonight, so I’ll have his comments after that.
